Jenna looked around and saw the gap,

Jenna had been working in restaurants since she was just twelve years old, starting at Dairy Queen making blizzards and working her way up through every role imaginable. After years in Halifax's hospitality scene, she noticed something crucial missing: where was the cool, delicious "girlie pop" brunch spot? It simply didn't exist, and Halifax desperately needed one. Whether it was the coffee quality, the service standards, or the food itself, no one had truly mastered brunch in Halifax. Jenna felt it was time to own her own business and decided to test the waters with something small and manageable—a coffee shop that could eventually become something bigger.

Jenna's Journey:
Jenna grew up in Collingwood, Ontario, and has been working in restaurants since she was just twelve years old, starting at Dairy Queen making blizzards. She worked her way up from hostess to server, then to cocktail server, and eventually to a management position in downtown Halifax. After gaining valuable experience, she decided it was time to venture out on her own with The Ville Caffeine Bar.

Michelle's Story:
Michelle is a small-town island girl born and raised in Morell, Prince Edward Island. She moved to Halifax after leaving her master's studies in PEI to pursue a degree in Sciences, but discovered her true passion lay in baking. Michelle had been an avid baker since childhood, often found side by side with her mother in the kitchen baking delicious family recipes.

Despite not having any professional training, Michelle's perfectionist approach and natural talents—inherited from watching her father work as a skilled carpenter—have combined to create some of the most incredible pastries you will ever have. Her dedication is unwavering; she would sometimes work for 24 hours straight to fulfill orders.
