Our Rooted Tale
Built from a belief she had to unlearn
Eden S. MacLean grew up in a family where art was not part of the language. Nobody made things. Nobody painted. She absorbed a belief from that environment: because she could not draw, there was nothing creative she could do.
That belief held until she met her in-laws. They approached art differently. They made things, they encouraged her to try, and they treated creativity as something worth pursuing for its own sake. Slowly, the belief she had carried for years began to loosen.
She was a stay-at-home mother at the time, and before that a healthcare worker. Her children were getting older and needing her less each year, which meant she had, gradually, time that was becoming her own. What she had not yet been was an artist.
She decided to change that.

Eden S. MacLean is a self-taught artist. Every technique she uses was figured out through her own hands with no formal training, no class, no mentor standing beside her. Just practice and the willingness to start again when something did not work.
She comes to this from a background in healthcare and years as a stay-at-home mother. Art was not part of how she grew up. She did not arrive at it through school or a workshop. She arrived at it by trying.
At Of Eden Co., quality and affordability are held together as equal commitments. She selects the best materials available while keeping prices within reach deliberately. For pieces not available in the shop, she offers a custom consult.
She describes what she makes as wearable art rather than jewelry. A piece from Of Eden Co. is meant to make the person wearing it feel connected and seen, not simply styled.
